Drew has spent his career making money move faster, cheaper and more safely. At Visa, his team built one of fintech’s first developer communities. As founder and CEO of Sequent Software, he co-invented the intellectual property behind some of the leading mobile payment systems. He later partnered with Baupost to acquire Western Union’s business division, now Convera, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer.

Drew’s operating competencies have matured through holding a variety of roles that create perspective. Drew worked at McKinsey & Company, while also serving as a Board Partner in early-stage venture capital and the first fintech resource at Permira Advisers. Drew left these positions to become Chief Growth Officer at Hyperwallet Systems Inc., where he pivoted the firm’s strategy to digital, leading to an exit to PayPal that generated a sponsor return of 5.5x MOIC in 26 months.

More recently, he partnered with Baupost to acquire Western Union’s business division, now named Conerva. There he assumed the role of Chief Commercial Officer where his team of over 730 (across 16 time zones) achieved over 12 consecutive months of record growth.

With his global perspective, Drew founded Linguard Labs to reimagine the infrastructure of financial services in a cloud, blockchain, and AI future. As Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Drew defines the strategic vision, innovation roadmap, and execution plan for the organization. He is responsible for building and leading Linguard’s seasoned team.

Drew’s professional career began as a Technology Transaction attorney, first with White & Case, and then with Loeb & Loeb.
